Vegetarianism: harm or benefit to the organism

Vegetarianism: harm or benefit to the organism
Approximately 17% of people refuse from eating animal products. But vegetarians are different: some do not even eat with milk and honey, others with pleasure devours chicken breast, believing that it is absolutely "vegetarian" - in the sense of diet - food. But the fact that they abstain from meat for various reasons. Who does not want to harm the animal world, and someone cares only about their own health and well-being.
Vegetarianism - a system of power, in which the most limited or completely eliminated animal products. But all is not as easy as it seems at first glance. Indeed, in this area there are a lot of currents differing in degree of radicalism: vegan, veganism (allowed only plant foods); syroedstvo (vegetable food without heat treatment); not strict vegetarianism (which is allowed the use of certain products of animal origin - honey, fish); laktovegetarianstvo (allowed milk and its products); laktoovovegetarianstvo (other than milk and milk products are allowed to consumption of eggs). And recently stood out direction, which allows the use of only the nuts and fruits (fruitarian).

Specialists ambivalent about vegetarianism. Some believe such a diet is quite adequate. Others believe that the diet must be present animal protein. Themselves vegetarians opinion that meat consumption leads to the formation of decomposition products of proteins. This enhances putrefaction in the intestine and increases the load on many organs, especially on the excretory system, and also causes "acidification" organism. There is speculation that vegetarian food is much more useful to humans. It meets the needs of the body, have a preventive effect and promotes active aging. Therefore, plus food in this system are obvious, because the herbal products:
removed from the intestines of harmful substances, prevent cancer and atherosclerosis, contribute to the timely appearance of satiety; contain many vitamins (C, P, beta-carotene, folate), and terpenoids, and potassium, magnesium and alkaline equivalents; are suitable for the human body the ratio of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids; include volatile, which suppress the growth of bacteria that form toxins in the gut; do not contain cholesterol; reduced blood cholesterol; protect the body from diseases of the cardiovascular system, hypertension, appendicitis, uric acid diathesis, metabolic disorders, diabetes, and gout.

But together with the advantages, there are disadvantages of strict vegetarianism: lack amino acids, especially necessary for proper growth and development of children; insufficient supply the body with vitamins B12, which is needed for the "revival" of iron stores, blood, bone formation, the normal functioning of the nervous system & D, necessary for the absorption of calcium; lack of vitamin B2 (riboflavin), with a shortage which reduces life expectancy, deteriorating eyesight and skin condition, reduced immunity and vitamin C, which acts as an anti-aging body.

And many micronutrients, macronutrients and proteins are digested much worse from plant foods. That is the part of the nutrients that are considered to be sucked, simply passes through the intestines, and then removed from the body. It primarily relates to calcium, iron, zinc and selenium. In addition, those products that are considered full-fledged vegetarian substitute for animal protein, those are absolutely not. For example, everyone knows soybeans containing plant hormones, which are not very useful for women and men, and even more so for children.
