Ingredients for the meatballs:
- 400 grams of minced meat;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs;
- Salt;
- Ground black pepper and red;
- 1 can of canned vegetables;
- Bay leaf;
- Vegetable oil.
Ingredients for the gravy:
- 1 onion;
- 1 carrot;
- 50 g butter;
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce.
Cooking meatballs:
Mix the minced meat, two eggs and bread crumbs together. Season with salt, black and red pepper, mix everything carefully. Canned vegetables, rinse with cold water and chop finely. Add the minced meat. Then make a small form of minced meatballs and place for ten minutes in the refrigerator.
Preparation of tomato gravy:
Onion peel and chop finely. Carrots are clean, grate. Next to the heated pan, add vegetable oil and place the chopped onion. Fry the onions until golden brown. Then add butter and carrots, lightly fry for five minutes. Then add two tablespoons of tomato sauce, fry for another seven minutes.
Cooking meatballs in tomato sauce:
Place meatballs in a deep baking dish with high side. Put the meatballs on top of fried vegetables. Add the boiling water. Need as much water to the vegetables were slightly covered by water. Season with salt and pepper, add bay leaf. Cover and stew in the oven. Meatballs simmer at 180 degrees for thirty minutes. Ready meatballs served with crispy fries or green salad.
