JustLady.How did the B & H Mallorcawine?
Irina.At first we met, and then become engaged tastings. I went to school sommelier, and Andrew independently studied wine.
Andrew.We went to Majorca, because they knew that there must be a classy wine. Mallorcan wine - is a separate issue, it's not like anything else. Looked vineyards, wineries, everything was so positive, I did not want to go there. Bought a lot of wine and decided that this treasure is necessary to share with others. Thus was born the idea for their own business.
JL.Thus, you, first, have opened a new area for Russia, and secondly, began to talk about the wines themselves?
Andrew. Prior to that, we went to the tasting in one big Moscow club.
Irina. And once again coming to the tasting, offered our Mallorcan set. We asked ourselves about him. Prepared, carried out tasting. It is all like, and we realized that we can do it ourselves.
Andrew. In the spring we have been quite popular introductory tasting, when people who know little about wine, came, and we told them about it. Now she has moved more to the corporate level. In my opinion, the whole wine get-together a little snobbish. And we would like to show their tastings that not only snobs can enjoy the gifts of grapes and understand it. Because in the low and middle price segment has very good wine.
JL. Wine - it's more than just come to drink wine - everyone can do it yourself at home. What is this phenomenon, why this format is interesting? Why do people go to them: learn to understand the wine, try something unique, which is not in Russia?
Andrew.For me personally, wine has always been a kind of way to communicate. When the company ran out of things to say, we can begin to discuss the flavor and organoleptic properties of wine. One after another, these feelings cling, and you realize that a person on the same wavelength - he understands you, you know it, in terms of feelings. It helps to approach. Our main message - not only to give the opportunity to try as many wines, and raise the level of culture of consumption of alcoholic beverages in Russia. We can say that we activists to popularize wine in our country.
