To create a heart sachet, we need:
- Cotton or linen tea towel (you can take a piece of cloth);
- The narrow ribbon or lace;
- Small buttons and beads;
- Thread;
- Needle or sewing machine;
- Dressmaker pins;
- Filler (eg, sintepon);
- Paper template;
- Vanishing marker or tailor chalk;
- Dried lavender to perfume.
Prepare tissue for subsequent sewing. If you do not use new towels, wash thoroughly and otgladte them. Incidentally, I use a new towel, but still washed before cutting it and ironed.
Print the template of a heart on paper, carefully cut it out along the contour. Do not forget about SEAM! With tailor pins Pin the paper pattern to the back of the fabric. Circle the chalk outline of a template or disappearing marker, remove the pins and pattern with fabric. Do the same procedure again - this will be the second half of a heart sachet. With sharp scissors carefully cut out hearts.
If you want to decorate a sachet embroidery, beads, or beads, buttons or applique, do it now, before both halves are sewn. Now fold the halves of future heart inside out and sew them together stitch "back needle" or prostrochite edges with a sewing machine. Not sutured heart completely, leave a couple of inches on the free side of the line.
Remove the heart sewn on the front side, straighten your finger or the blunt side of a pencil all seams and proutyuzhte. Fill sachets synthetic padding (not too tight) and dried lavender, if necessary, help yourself with the blunt side of a pencil pushing "stuffing" inside a heart. With the blind stitch neatly sew the hole.
Do a loop of decorative braid or ribbon. To do this, cut the required amount of tape from the main skein, fold in half and using a blind stitch sew firmly to the heart. Done!
Now you can hang sachets around the house, decorate their window frame, put in a closet and chest of drawers with linen or donate close to Valentine's Day instead of Valentine.
