Kozaveyka - female Russian folk costumes in the form of a large warm jackets, lined with cotton, wool or fur. Warm kozaveyki with long sleeves were mostly elderly women middle and lower class. Such clothing was considered a peri-domestic, informal. Kozaveyki were made of dense soft tissue - cloth, velvet, plush, drodedama, as well as semi-silk fabrics such as brocade. Such clothing was popular until the beginning of XX century.
Kozaveykoy also called the female part of the Moldovan national costumes made of thick fabric such as cloth and resembling a short swing sleeveless jackets.
