The reason for the abolition of the three-day master class by John Galliano «Show Me Emotion» was the statement by the designer of the unwillingness to spend it. He explained his decision by saying that it is not ready to publicly discuss their failures in his career, for him it is too painful subject.
Parsons leaders hoped that Galliano will share his experience with students, including openly examining the question of interaction of the artist and society, his reputation. But the designer refused.
John Galliano doubt partly justified, obviously, he did not see in Parsons suitable atmosphere for a sincere conversation with the students. Recall that not all supported the idea of a master-class designer and even publicly opposed it.
